I felt in this update that I should put this information right up top for people to see. I want to formally declare that I am openly accepting commissions. I'm so glad that recently I have been receiving such wonderful feed back about my items. I feel confident now that I can satisfy the demands of customers on custom work and especially pieces I've already constructed. Also, if you're an artisan of some kind and are looking more in the vein of trading, contact me and see if I'm interested as well.

So, either send me a note, write a comment on this journal, or if you like a particular piece of my work in my gallery write a comment there explaining your desire for a commissioned piece. I'll get back to with a price and an estimated time it can be completed. You then decide whether or not you want the piece under those conditions, and, if so, I'll get to work. My prices are reasonable and fairly low (from what I've seen) mostly because I love to make this stuff, and I feel the privilege of making a piece is some of the payment in its self.

I look forward to hearing from you all and making pretty things for you.

I felt the last journal was getting a bit long and that a new one was in order. First off I need to highlight some important things that were included in the last journal.

Knowing me, I'll get interested in working on it periodically and do so for a few days, then stop again. I'm headed out to the North East Maille Fest near Albany NY on the 27th and 28th I'll be meeting a bunch of fellow maillers and I'm really looking forward to it. Also, I'll be getting a shipment of rings and scales in shortly before heading out, so expect a few new items to be photographed and put up within the next few weeks.

Also, I've finally crafted a mandrel to wind all that wire I got at my summer job last year. I'm likely going to make another shirt out of it all, (costume grade, not as nice as my current one) and attempt to sell it. Chances are I'm going to put it up for $350-$400 so if anyone here would like to call dibs on it, I'll be sure to work on it quickly for you.
